Whats the biggest(widest) tire I can run on a 18x9. Im wanting to put some drag radials on the back for this summer.

i duna about on 18x9...but i have 17's and i run 315 on the back and 275 on the front

um 18x9 ugh prob like 275. i kno u can go 315 with a 17x10.5

i belive 275 would be the biggest for a 18x9 but i would say maybe go to a local tire shop and ask them about a 305, there is a guy around my area with an 18 inch rim and his tire size is a 305 30 18, and i have never seen that before, im also not sure what width he has either.

i posted what i have to show that 315 fit on my 17s..so maybe he could fit that too

295 and 315 fit too, my friend had kumho ECSTA V710 315/35/18 in his rear 18x10 they look nice, but they are like 275 a piece and they are just for dry weather and track, so he after that he uses 295

I run 275/40/17 on stock 94 GT rims on my 5.0 ranger. I believe the stock rim size is 17x8. But on an 18x9 you could prolly run a 315 no problem. I wouldnt go any bigger otherwise youll have a REALLY tough time gettin em on the rim. 18x10 you can fit a 335/30 on em no prob. I used to be a tire tech and the 90's vettes run 315/30zr17 or 18 on a 9" wide rim. The vipers have a 10 or 10.5" wide rim and run a 335.
