I'm not talking about my car when asking this, but if the car sometimes idles rough what problem would it indicate? Need to replace fuel filter? change spark plugs + wires? Kinda curious to know what's wrong with my brother's car. It only does it once in a while though.

Explain idling rough...

These cars do not have a perfectly smooth idle. There is a lot of 100-200rpms surging and such.

Usually for idle issues, it involves the IAC/TPS/Plugs/CP's.

it just suddenly starts shaking/rattling the whole car at idle, but it doesn't shake that violently. and it only happens for a short period of time.
