hey guys im lookin at gettin another mustang, my brother has a 00 gt, and i was lookin for something a little newer, so i came across a 03 and a 04 gt,5 speed, do u guys know anything different between the 03 and 04's, is there drive train exacltly the same, or is one year have a stronger trans, or better heads than the other? i would appreciate any info i can get so i can make the right desicion between the two cars. p.s. the 03 gt 5speed has 34,000 miles for $16800, and the 04 gt 5speed with 24,000 miles for $17,400 with 1 year left on the warrenty; both in mint condision! which do i think is the better buy?

'04. 10,000 less miles and only $800 more. Def get the '04, especially if it still has warranty left on it. I think 03 and 04 are exactly the same exceptg for the 40th anniv. badges on the 04

Post once bro. I'd say 03. I've HEARD that the 04s actually had gotten slower. Don't know if this is true or not I don't see why it would be but again that's what i've heard/read.

being an owner of an 03, i will have to say that every other year GT is indeed slower. 03 had more agressive cams. so ive heard<<<<<<< ?

my 03 stock can pull 7 car lengths out of a brand new GTI VW turbo with a chip and full exhaust!! its legit he can shift really well too. 5 times i spanked him so hard lol

A d*ck. I thought you were making fun of me.[:'(] I really did read somewhere that the 04 had gotten slower then the 99-03s. I don't believe it but that's just what I heard/read like I said.

Ah ok. That might be why. The only time i've heard of this happen with a car was with the 98 LS1 SS Camaros. Half of them received "regular" cams and the "last" half received Corvette cams because they ran out of cams half way through production. Heh

Keep looking. You can find a Mach 1 for the same price or a couple grand more.
