5w-30 Royal Purple. Use Royal Purple in the engine, tranny and rearend. Good stuff!

I got a 97 4.6. I run 5W30 right now with some oil burning (Valve seals) and will be replacing them soon. Would it be okay to run 5W20 in my car or is this an earlier version meant for 5W30? It says 5W30 on the fill plug. I however read a TSB that said I could run 5W20 in my engine. I also heard 5W20 allows for better MPG under normal conditions.
