I really don't see how fair that would be to allow some cars to have HIDs while others aren't. There should be no reason for HIDs to be illeagal. if all else fails angle them downward.

It's legal if you have projectors to centralize/contain the HID light. It's ILLEGAL if you stick HID's into a headlamp without projectors.

Notice every car that uses HID lighting (BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, Etc) have projectors?

yea its illegal... peaple dont understand that it blinds the oncomming traffic. plus half the time they arnt aimed right and they are just lighting up the whole ****ing road plus the trees next to them. thats the reason they are illegal.

well lighting up the road is their purpose and I love my HIDs. So what if it blinds the other drivers, back before I had HIDs I had trouble with stupid people driving with thier highbeams on. So my main reason for buying HIDs was to blind them. Now my lenses are hazed over so I am sure the power of my HIDs are dimmed a bit. but I alaso have mine angled down an inch or so. The cops haven't bothered me....at least not for the headlights anyway.
