75mm T/B and Plenum
I have read the article on how to install a 75mm T/B and Plenum, however is there anything else that needs to be done? Any specfic amount of force (pounds) when you reinstall everything?

RE: 75mm T/B and Plenum
When I put mine on I just tightend it up using my best judgement. Be careful though since the manifold is plastic with threaded inserts. You don't want to overtighten but you dont want it to come loose either. There is an O-ring between the Plenum and manifold instead of a regular gasket.

75mm is actually too big for a otherwise stock set-up. 70mm has better results on the dyno.

On my 96 & my buddy's 04 (both running MAC plenums) the tube that connects to the outlet on the back end of the plenum is too small to connect to the unit. So we bought some rubber tubing to put over the stock tube and then onto the plenum. (I hope I was clear enough on my description, let me know if you have any questions). Other than that it's simple bolt on. I'm extremley happy with the gains from my 75mm set up too.

Depends on where you get your information from, I have seen better results with a 75mm on slightly modified setups...with obviously much better gains with forced induction.

oh, and a 75mm tb/plenum won't give you crap for power even with F/I.

I thought i was smart when i thought of that. I guess others did too.

Really?
The dyno tests I have seen were about 3-5HP more. That's not much, and hardly worth mentioning...but it's a difference.
Definitely not worth arguing over though, that's for sure.
