OK I went out and bought a new IAC to see if that would solve my bouncing tach while in low RPMS. I got to install the new IAC today to realize that it looks nothing like what I have on the car. Well as it turned out the IAC that originally on the car was for a 98 gt, so my question is wtf. I know my engine is a windsor motor so why does it have the older style IAC. and my next thought is the upper plenum and throttle body I bought were from an 01 GT. Is it possible that all my intake componets are from a 98 GT? The build date for my engine is nov 17 1998.
