I have a 98gt convertable. Installing pi ported heads, intake, and a 7psi root style svt supercharger. I am considering 4.10's or 3.73's. Everywhere I've read recommends 3.73 for 5-speed and 4.10's for auto. I do a lot of highway driving and don't want to sacrifice top speed. My questions are what does everyone have/and recommend for highway driving and what is the 7.5 and 8.8 numbers I keep seeing by the gear ratio? I think it is the axle size, but not sure??? What size is a 98?

7.5 is what they put in v6 models v8 are 8.8
