well the engine and trans togeather cost me 1500, the bullit suspension was 450, and i pulled the rear end complete with quad shocks alond with the instument gauge off a wrecked gt for 500, rims and tires were 900, exhaust was 700 , so ive dumped a lil more then 4000 into the project, not to bad i guess

Its a good unique project. Something fun to do. But if you were trying to save money, the 99 v6 blue book value is 2 grand less than the v8.

On the other hand he has a few performance parts, a better suspesion, and it still looks like a V6.

I would skip the bullit tires/rims just for the sleeper look.

Its time for nitrous!

i was thinking about it but i wanted bigger tires then my lil stock 15s and really liked the look of the bullit rims, and no nitrous will never touch any of my cars sry, down the road will probly go with forged internals, new set of performance heads, then a s/c

If I were you.. before you even start building it, I would slap a set of headders on your 4.6.. long tube if you can do it where your at (emissions).. it will be 200000x easier now then after you get it in.

Jmat, if you can.... get the LT's on... figure a way out, haha.... Let's put it this way. For a New Edge GT to put LT's on our cars, it's easily $1,000.00 to have most any shop do it. because they have to LIFT the engine.. so if you have the engine out you might just want to get it done. Have fun with your project...
