I believe 99 ans 00 had the clear ones, and 01+ had the tinted headlights. My little brother has a 99 v6 and he is always talking about taking my headlighs from me cuz they look way better.

They didn't tint them, they changed that plastic inside it from that ridiculous reflective silver, to black... which makes a world of a difference.
