full bolt ons and cams you should be in the 12.9 range to 12.60range. I have been a 12.21 with the mods in my sig was trying to get in the 11 be the hot weather slowed me down to 12.30's went a 12.30, 31, 33 all in a row last sunday. With headers I should be in the 12's on motor and 11's on spray. Quaterhorse was running 12.70 with a non pi car with bolt ons and a cam and pi heads.

This is easy.. The following mods are what every car needs to be a successful 12 second car:
1. The biggest APC decal you can possibly find to put on the hood.
2. Green neon lights regardless of what color the car is.
3. 12 inch non-functional tach.
4. Oversized body kit that is not made for your car but with a little fabrication will work. Primer colored.
5. 14 inch fart can.
He He.. Sorry couldn't help myself. But seriously, It can be done but will take some time and money. Easier to go F.I. IMO.

RE: 12's.. whats it take??
Dunno why you guys are thinking it takes ported heads/forged internals or even camshafts to run 12s N/a.
A 12.99 counts as 12s. Jdaniel ran a 13.0x on his GT with full boltons, a 4.10 gear, and some drag radials.
Plenty of others have ran in the high 12s with just boltons. With full slicks it would be super easy.
LTs, X, catback, CAI, inlet tube, t/b, plenum, u/d pulleys, full synthetic fluids, and gears should net a 12.99 on drag radials. If you can't quite get there throw in a set of cams.
No reason you cannot break into the 12s with a 33xx~ pound car making 285~ rwhp and 30x RWTQ

Thank you man, it doesn't take nitrous or a blower to get a gt into the 12's. Just good tasteful mods.

RE: 12's.. whats it take??
I would love to go 12.99, but i dont even plan on LT's
4.10's,
o/r H,
catback,
UDP's,
TB/Plenum
CA's
maybe find a way to lose some weight,
get a NASTY 60' and hold on [&:]
