Guys i'm only browsing and I come across this discussion and I wan't to know, What makes it so hard to go 12's in the Mustangs???Im just curious because they have V8's with multiple cams. Do they not respond very well to Bolt-ons? Or do they not make much power at all?? The reason my asking is I own a 1993 Z28 M6, and my car is "limited" to Kooks 1-3/4" LT Race Headers, off-road pipe and Mufflex 4"/3", TB, 24lb. Injectors,1.65 rockers,F.A.S.T Tuning,BMR Full Suspension,4.10grs, and have been able to run 12's on slicks/skinnies almost everytime out. I always hear the 12-second discussion among 4.6 enthusiast at the strip but have never asked what the difficulties were? 12's aren't hard.
So what? you installed ford gears in a chevy rearend? or you bought a ford rear end? or do you mean 4.11's? lol[8D]

I know right I didnt want to say anything because I thought maybe i was wrong but i do believe that a chevy is compatible for 4.11's not 4.10's
