275 RWHP and 308 WTQ
Hey guy's, i just got my cams installed and maxed out at 275hp and 308tq. Im happy with the torque number, but want to get the hp number at 280hp+. What is the best way to get to 280hp considering the mods i have in my sig? I also do not have the 3:73 gears installed at this time, so that will probably increase my torque a bit more. I was thinking steeda underdrive pullies, what's your thoughts?

I have a SCT dyno tune. The guy that did it is really good at it, but i know the shop was swamped with other cars so i think i only got like 2 pulls on the dyno. He said the tune is good though, but im thinking it may need a couple more pulls than 2 to get a good dyno tune.

Also, in the newest 5.0 Mustangs issue, ford anderson motorsport did a similar install with virtually the same mods as me, but with a MAF and different brand stage 1 cams and came up with 279hp and 297tq. So i know i am right around where im suppose to be with good torque numbers.

You loose numbers when installing a higher gear ratio, but it should not be enough to really notice or matter.

replace the shorties with LTs and you will make at least another 10 HP. I am willing to be the shorties are not making more than a few (2-3) horsepower.
You loose numbers when installing a higher gear ratio, but it should not be enough to really notice or matter.
