Default 4.6 Differences

Is there a difference in 4.6L short blocks in a truck and a mustang? I'm thinking about putting a supercharger on my truck and I'm just wondering if it could handle power like a Musang!

Some of the truck 4.6ls are lighter by about 100 lbs than the mustang 4.6s I believe.
