I think it's important to be able to ease on and off the gas(i.e. moving in reverse).

I didn't need it, but you may. To find out if your throttle is opening 100%, have someone hold the gas pedal to the floor, and try to open the throttle on the throttle body under the hood with your hand. If it still has travel even with somebody holding it then do the mod. If it doesn't move, then you don't need it.

I would put this mod down as being more for heel toeing than making sure your at WOT. i'll bet most stangs are getting WOT when they floor it. this just makes it easier to hell toe which makes driving more fun!!!

this is true..but also for the auto drivers out there who are tired of moving their whole leg instead of just their foot to hit the brake pedal...really frickin annoying

I did this modification a couple weeks ago. IT WORKS.

Has been working flawlessly ever since. Although, I think there is some misinformation. The pedals are not at the same height, any of them. My gas pedal is raised all the way, there is absolutely no slack. There is the clutch, then a small step down to the brake, then a small step down to the gas. The 3 pedals are staggered. Now the gas pedal is raised to the correct height though.

I noticed right away that the pedal is MUCH more sensitive. I'm certain that before this I wasn't achieving wide-open throttle.

Don't even think twice about it, it's worth it.
