Default installing rear cobra calipers

Is there anything I should look for to improve/replace as I install the cobra rear calipers? Since I do have to pull the axles.

If you don't already have gears get them and throw them in while you have it all apart!!!!

Have you actually had it apart? Replacing the gears in the rear is at LEAST an hour extra, the carrier stays in the diff when the axles come out.

Mark99GT, take a look here: https://mustangforums.com/m_1112743/tm.htm

Edit: There's not much along the way to replace, nothing that is convenient really... the gears are the closest thing but that's still quite a bit of extra time. If you're doing gears, upgrade to a 31 spline carrier and axles.

ok, thanks. I am seriously considering the 4.10s and may just bring it to a shop to have the gears and calipers all done at once. I was also thinking about the 31 spline axles. How important are they? this car is a dd and will probably never in its life see more than 400rwhp. To do the axles id need to buy the axles, a new carrier and a new diff. right?
