3Grand, what to do.

RE: 3Grand, what to do.
Ok, I meant to add "to do it right".
Intercooler, new clutch (stocker is torched shortly thereafter if you make decent numbers), guages, place for gauges, labor (if you don't do it yourself - should save a grand doing it yourself), tune (no matter who installs it, but especially if you do it yourself), and any other item you realize is substandard after the install (i.e. tires, suspension, gears, etc.)
Who wants to be blown half-assed? I didn't want to drive my blown GT around until I had everything I thought I would need to be satisfied with it. If you just want to get a used head unit on it and get it to start? Sure, $3k should cover it and good luck with it.

Not really. I think 2000GT4.6 has like 4000 in his whole setup tuned and running. And I have liked 4300 in mine. And if you go with a USED blower, you're going to be even cheaper.

You'd be surprised what you're going to spend on a blower setup, the list becomes never ending. I said enough is enough and I'm not adding any more to the chore list for install. It can be a bottomless pit. $3000 you say? Your half way there, half way...keep saving.

I have seen plenty of people run the stock clutch for quite some time, so long as they are not making much over 360~ WHP. Even then you will get away with it for awhile. But its only a few more hundred if you put it in yourself.
