The problem I have is a strange noise coming from the back of my car. It sounds like a bad bearing and the noise is always there and gets a little louder if I get on the gas a little. Also makes the noise when I swerve side to side.

I took it to two shops. The first shop said it was probably a carrier bearing. The second shop found out that my right rear brake was grinding into my rotor, so they think that’s the problem. The only thing is I’ve had this problem for a while and it really sounds like a bearing and not brakes.

I'd appreciate any input on what you think it is.

Also, does any one know of a web site with affordable cobra brake pads? Thanks for the help,
