Default plastic intake and boost

I am ****ed...I have been waiting on this typhoon intake manifold for over 3 months now and they keep pushing the date back. now its the mid of next month. but anyway Ive been waiting on this manifold because im afraid the stock plastic one I had on before I built my bottom end wouldnt hold the 2.80 pulley I put on the procharger..has anyone seen these plastic ones hold that much boost around 16 or so and stay together. if so im just going to run the plastic one for now.
