Default 1/8th mile ET

Well I just got back from the track, and for some reason I feel a little dissapointed.

My car Stock ran a 9.62 on street slicks about 6 months ago. I ran it tonight for the first time with the mods in my signature, and it ran a 9.23 on street tires, spinning out at the start. Is that an alright time for an 03 GT sohc with those mods without slicks? I dont know I was expecting atleast 8.99s. Also, what kind of times are some of you running?

right now spinning i ran a 8.2 @88... when i was n/a, i went once and i hit a 9.4 @78mph. that is with a 2.2 60' on stock tires and shifting soft so i wouldnt throw the rear end around... the car was capable of mid to high 8's n/a with some sticky tires.... now im going back with my new tranny, clutch, and flywheel next month when its all broken in and im dedicated to hit mid 7's.

what was your trap speed? i did 9.10 on street tires with the mods on my signature minus the 3.73.

My trap speed was 77.87 mph

Also, i took a closer look at my time slip, and my RT was .396, which is horrible. Wouldnt that mean my car acculy ran about 8.9 when i acculy left the line?
I ran 4 times and every run was near .4 RT. Thats kina sad I need to work on that.

no reaction time has nothing to do with your actual time(you can sit there for 30 seconds and it wouldn't effect you time at all)

+1.
Also with your mods and some more practice high 8's should be no problem.
