my buddy has been telling me about this place in town that has 110 octane gasoline. My question is, if i run that on my car, will it do any harm to it? I have a full aftermarket exhaust without cats, so there wont be any problems with emmisions. Does running that rich of fuel compared to regular 92 octane premium even help your car in terms of gaining HP, or is it all just a joke?

higher octane burns slower and more effecient,

you will lose horsepower on a stock car running 110 and not getting tuned for it.

If you have a stock Gt you don't even need 92 octane. 110 would be the largest watse of money you could probably think of. It will do nothing at all for performance.

And running rich is when your loading to much fuel into the motor and not enough air. Octane has nothing to do with it.

Octane is simply a measure of how hard it is to ignite. The nice thing about higher octane fuel is you can run more timing (and get more HP) w/o having to worry about detonation.

owners manual says 87 octane. run 87 octane. no advantages will be found by a stock engine in anything other that 87. i promise.

Pretty sure most 110 is leaded gas... That's probably not good for a car designed to run on unleaded fuel.

last time i bought 110 it was $6 a gallon, not sure what it is now, but would be a waste of money on a stock motor with stock timing.
