4.10 gears

I have a 2000 GT Automatic
- I have droped it a K & N without any Air silncer
- 40's dual flow masters
- u/d pulleys
**** What kind of HP can I get from putting in new Gears ( 4.10 )! can I do this to an automatic

you'll lose 1-2 HP at most.

yeah no hp gains from gears but it will feel like your running a 50 shot of nitrous.

gearing does not increase hp in any way. I just makes your car accelerate faster because it makes the wheels rotate at a faster rate than your stock gears. It hurts the gas milage by about 1 or 2 mpg because the gear is used up and winds up faster, but it is well worth it.

gears are THE best mod you can do for your stang in my humble opinion. they really wake the car up. quicker et's. worse gas mileage cause your turning more rpm's..
