4.10s + Tuner = Sex
Just got the ride back.. Got the 4.10s, SCT tuner and had it dyno'd.. 298 RWHP..
My tech was supprised for it being a 99 Corba w/ an O/R H, Flow Super 40s, and a MAC cold air intake.. He felt the numbers were very good for that year and those mods.. The car only has 9.000 miles too though..
So, I pay the fairly large bill and hope in it.. I drive down the street taking it slow just to get the feel of the new mods.. I make a right turn to hop on the highway and shift from 3rd to 2nd and WHOA! I hit 2nd at about 25-30 and fish tailed down half of the on ramp.. It never did that before..
Over all I am very happy with the 4.10s and tuner.. Car pulls better, responds better and is much faster..

My tech, who was a Ford master mechanic for 25 years, said they really don't need a break in period.. He went on to say the quality of the gears and the quaility of the insall make the difference.. His exact words were "go try em out and if you have any problems call me." I took that as 'go run em hard and if my install isn't perfect then I will fix the problem free of charge'..
