Default Changing Header Gasket

The guy that put on my headers a while ago didnt use locktite on the bolts, so I have a huge header leak. I get the car on a lift and see that one of the screws on the header is half way out. Because of that the gasket is melted so when we drove it back in we still had a leak.

Is there any easy way to replace the gasket on the left header to make a seal without having to go through dropping the k member and engine?

Whoa you drop the k member to change your headers? They full length? Anyway, have you tried just tightening the screw. My 85 did that (even with loctite), I eventually got header lock screws with the E-clip lock.

jack up the car, disconnect the steering linkage (one bolt to loosen and it will slide up and off). You should then be able to access the bolts. Some might be hard to get to, or you can have the guy that put them on fix it. you would need high temperature loctite to hold these. normal loctite will not work under this type of temperature.
