Default shortys

I am thinking about ordering some shorties. Is it worth the extra 40 bucks to get the equal length shorties?

I would go the extra for the equal length, but then again I would go all out and get some long tubes. Shorties add about 5rwhp, equal length about 8-10rwhp, and long tube about 15-18rwhp.

If your ripping out your stock manifolds, just put in some long tubes and call it a day!

shorty's suck, they don't do anything except keep somewhat of a stock design. As for Performace[:'(] Go ahead and make your life easier and buy the shorties and tha manufacturer will be laughing all the way to the bank[sm=roll.gif] lol
Go with long tubes so you won't have to buy another midpipe

nothing wrong with shorties, if youre on a budget they are alright. they sound pretty sick, bbk equal lengths at least. mine were on the engine when i bought it so i didnt have much choice, but switching to longtubes requires a new midpipe and o2 extensions so you gotta figure itll cost you probably a couple hundred extra for that slightly extra hp over equal lengths.

So if you went with equal length shortys you could keep the stock midpipe and H pipe?
Also, if you have to replace the midpipe when you get the headers what are some good brands of midpipes?
