About 2 times out of 10 when i start my car, it takes a lot longer than normal. i turn the key and i hear the car turn over, but my rpm's stay low and the car barley starts. Its a pretty new car. Anyone else having the same problem or know what is wrong?

i have the same problem
I usually give it like 3 pumps of gas before i start it and sometimes it starts better but sometimes not
anybody know whats wrong?

Mine did the same thing yesterday (engine was warm) but, what was interesting though was as soon as I left off the key to stop cranking (atleast 6 or 7 seconds) it was running? Maybe it started right away? But running VERY slowly?

Next time I'll try holding for 2 seconds and let go and see if it's running... Because sometimes when I start it cold it starts fine but, just barely runs for a few seconds then picks up and runs fine...????

i had that problem with my 98gt, i changed the fuel pump and filter and problem solved.
