In NJ you can tint whatever you want in the back windows. However I want to do the fronts as well. Do you think the cops really mind that much? :P

The legal limit in NY on the front windows is something like 75%. The window would look more dirty than tinted. I went with 20% all around and have had no problems from the police. They do tend to look at me a bit more, but with so many cars around here (with their windows tinted), I don't think they care too much.

They'll probably use it as an additional ticket if you get pulled over for something else.

in nj you cant tint the windows at all. my friend has tint on the front and gets pulled over all the time. on the back yuo can do whatever. it sucks
