Mustang 5.0 magazine did an article about some basic mods, CAI, smaller pulley on S/C, and catback exhaust then tuned using each tuner after adding each mod. The SCT Xcaliber 2 outperformed the Predator everytime. The car was an 2000 Cobra I believe. I don't have any experience w/ these personally, but thats what the article showed. I'm going w/ the SCT.

if anyone else would like to chime in, im game, as im contemplating which one at the moment.

I searched it but couldn't find it. I am mainly looking for as much power as possible and I really liked the features to be able to do the custom tuning your self. I know the Diablo is supposed to have really good custom tuning options but I don't know about the SCT.
Hay ilbehaved why did you sell you diablo is their something you didn't like that the SCT had? Just wondering.

i liked the diablo i just wanted to see what all the talk about sct2 was. got one coming from modular powerhouse with tims tune in it and ill see if its any stronger than the diablo tune with the timing max'd.

I had both and i can't say either one is better than the other. I can say i loved the canned tune on the Predator when i installed on my car with everything in my sig except the cams. When i bought my cams, the dyno shop i went too said that they can get an extra 10hp out of the SCT over the Predator and they have used both multiple times. So in short, dyno tune=SCT, canned tune=Predator. I guess?
