what should I get for 1K?

what should I get for 1K?
I know this question has been asked a lot but I just want to know want peoples opions are. Heres what I was thinking about for a 2001 GT convertible.
1.) MGW short throw shifter
2.) 4.10 or 4.30 gears (which one do you think is better for me)
3.) SCT or Diablo tuner
My plans are to do simple bolt ons and maybe eventually doing a forged short block, TKO 600 .64 overdrive, and a Stage 1 turbo kit from HP performance. I really don't know at the moment if I will do that or not so if I did would I need to change back to 3.27's or would 4.10's or 4.30's be all right.

5-speed and it is stock. These would be the first mods and I figured that they would give me some good starting gains and would give me some quicker times. The only problem with exhaust is I live in Virginia and they do not allow modified exhaust so I have to be carefull when it comes to making it louder because cops will pull you over for loud exhausts.

4.10s + tuner package $500
install for gears - $200-$400
$100-$200 to do whatever. id say save for and buy a catted mid pipe keep stock mufflers with aftermarket x pipe and you should be fine. i live in VA too and i drive around with a leaky h pipe and basically the exhaust is running straight out of the headers and cops just look but thats it.
