The first question is...what kind of gas mileage does a 4.6 liter v8 get? And second...can you drop a 4.6 into a 1983-1986 foxbody?

I have no clue about dropping it into a fox boby but on the highway I get about 400 miles to the tank and in the city it sucks *** because where I live there are so many ricers that I love to destroy so I do a lot of racing. But im sure once I calm down a little in mine even the city milage will be a little better.

First question: Not good. Look at LS1's and LS6's (very technologically advanced wether you want to admit it or not), they can only get like, 26 mpg cruisin on the highway.

Second: Why would you? You can get a fox with a 302 for cheaper than that, rebuild it, and start boosting for less probably.

Besides......brag about something worth braging about....try taking down an '00 Z28 and then talk about fast and decent gas milage for a 5.7L engine.

He can brag about whatever he wants to why are u hating on him? This is a mustang forum you can come on here and talk or brag about your mustang as much as you want and you shouldnt get criticized for it. If you think hes bragging about something stupid then keep it to yourself theres no need to say anything negative.
