Default backseat delete

Other than saving weight, is there really any other reason to take out the backseat?

Keeps you from having to drive people places. You can be the guy who says "Who's driving, I only have a two seater"!

I just took the back seats out so that I could install a styling bar on my convertible. Both the seat back and the seat bottom can't weigh more than a few pounds. DO NOT expect that you are saving any significant weight by getting rid of them. If you want to reduce your weight more, you are just as well off to drain the windshield washer reservouir, run with only a quarter tank of fuel and drive without shoes! In other words taking the mostly foam back seats out won't amount to much weight. Better yet, take the spare tire out.
