RE: brake question URGENT
i just did this the other day, i couldn't afford the tool to buy it out right..
it will only screw in by itself until about 1 1/4 inch from the caliper face..
I used a c-clamp.. put a couple rotations in, used my vice grips and rotated it a turn or two, turned the c-clamp a bit more, and repeated until the piston was only 1/8 of an inch ot of the caliper.
oh yah, just dont bit on the rubber boot.. it keeps dust and **** outta the piston that can seize it.

RE: brake question URGENT
What is seized up? I did my brakes a while ago and the caliper braket was seized up from rust. The auto parts store had em as replacement parts....$70 for both sides. The floating metal bolts that are suppossed to move in and out as you brake were completely rusted form iowas weather.
