Default Debating about engine...

Should I go for the 96-96 4valve cobra swap? Just put some bolt ons right now and just save up for my next car? Or totally mod out my non-pi (such as internals and forced induction)?

Hmmm, maybe for all the money you will be spending, for a little more, I would go ahead and get a 96-98 cobra. You get the performance and the name that way. Just my .02$. I would even maybe look into the 94 cobras as well if you find a good deal.

Sell your car and buy a cobra, may be cheaper in the long run.

True, but I did just get this car. I'm only 16. Make really good money for my age though.

i have a 1996 mustang gt. i wanted to do the pi head swap, but i ended up just buying a 2002 gt engine with 25,000 miles. it cost me $1250.00 shipped to me. the engine swap was alot of work. i thought it would be less work just buying the used engine. i wanted to do the cobra engine swap but the cost of buying a used engine was to much. i think i would be cheaper to buy a used cobra.
