USE THE STOPS. Believe me, you CAN overshift a 3650. When you do...it SUCKS

Get yourself some feeler gauges or just put the car in gear and set the stops just a hair from touching.

I've used several shifters and MGW wins by far.

it stops the shifter from going to far... its on the outside of the shifter and its just a set screw..... the shifter is an easy job... ive done 3 of them on different cars and it was a 15-20 minute job on each.

The stopper bolts prevent you from overthrowing the gears and damaging the trans. See, when you are driving fast, you want to shift as quick as possible. You can shift hard, meaning ram the shifter into gear and the bolts stop the shifter frm going to far so you don't scew up the trans.

Go take your car for a ride, learn to power shift and you'll quickly see/hear why they include stops with aftermarket shifters.

Quit freaking out and use the stops already!

I'll take you for a ride in your car with the stock shifter and you'll never question using the stops again.
