Quote price on clutch installation
I recently purchased my king cobra clutch kit from an online store and don't really wanna try to put it in myself or with my friends. Does anybody know the price (or somewhat) to install at a shop. Do you have to drop the tranny? thats what my dad said.

You will have to drop the tranny, around here (FL) it costs about $500 for install. Make sure you go ahead and get the flywheel resurfaced while your at it, only costs about $40.

st4ng07 on this forum told me he bought the king cobra kit, then paid around 250 for the install. Call around and get your best price... however, don't skimp on the trustability of the shop.
I did mine myself, and it's not a quick swap but if you have tools and friends it can be done. Also you feel more of a sense of accomplishment too.

the 'toughest' part is when you run into stubborn nuts/bolts. Be sure to have a stud extractor set like one i got from sears, and a torch kit. My buddy has one that has oxygen and map gas. worked wonders on the stuck nuts/bolts, other than that it's pretty straightforward.
