^^^ He does not lie if you roll by a cop open headers he would pull you over faster than you could imagine. You may be able to outrun his crown vic but I guarantee you cannot outrun his radio or their computer system.

My Opinion: Concentrate on NOT wrecking the car before you think about mods. If it is your first car, then learn its, and YOUR capabilities with it. Plenty of people wreck their first car, and most people get huge boats or tiny crapboxes.

Good luck man.

(who really cares if youre slower than a Cobra and heavy modded GT's, you still own a Mach 1)

damn dude i wish i had a mach 1. but dont wreck the damn think like it looks like you are doin. look:

First you wanted a sub in the back
THEN you hit a curb the first day of driving it.
You want to put strobes on it
then you want neons
and now you want to remove the exhaust.

im just saying this is a beautifal car you have and rare. i would hate to see such a nice car go down the drain. but whatever. if you like it do whatever you want. i kinda got used to it this weekend. i went to HOT IMPORT NIGHTS in Atlantic City lol. it was soo funny, peaple were walking out of the convension center with body kits in their hands. rofl

Be happy with the mach 1 while your still in high school for crying out loud man. It's a gorgeous car and just be happy with it for now and be happy with what you have. Just wait until you turn 18, get a job and let the modding begin.

just get mod money from your grandparents. do whatever you want with the car, it yours, not anyone elses.

just don't complain if people tell you it's gay lookin'.

I don't understand why your parents WON'T let you have a job...it builds a sense of financial responsibility, and teaches you how hard it is to earn money. Anyways, if you don't have any sort of income, just wait until you get a job. As for the exhaust, changing out the stock midpipe will make a big difference on your exhaust note. I recommend an aftermarket H-pipe, O/R if it is not illegal in your area.
