A plenum is a larger air passage from which smaller runners branch off from.
The upper intake is technically an elbow that leads to the plenum. The word plenum is used so often to describe the part that the throttle body bolts onto that everyone knows what you are talking about.

not too sure about the numbers but if your gettin a new plenum its highly advisable to get a new Throttle body, 1 or the other is fine put the two together and ull notice some improvements.

A 75mm T/B and plenum will bring about 12 rwhp to the car.

HAHAHAHA yea right.

more like 6-7rwhp on a supercharged car so you can expect around 4-5rwhp from tb/plenum combo. main thing you will feel is you will get quicker throttle response.
