could the slight clunking comming from the tranny when shifting becasue the fluid is low or needs to be changed? would flushing the system for royal purple be the answer?

5W-30 Royal Purple with Motorcraft Filter

In my opinion, 5W-20 is just WAY too freaking thin...

I paid 7 as well for royal purple.but considering you can go farther in between oil changes with royal purple its totally worth it.

I use Royal Purple 10w30. I didn't seem to like the 5w20 cause near oil change time the car felt sluggish like it was working to hard and not going anywhere. Switching to the 10 seemed better. The car seems to stay strong all the way till the next due date. I occasionally like to open the hood after getting home especially after driving hard to help cool the motor. I've noticed when using the 5w20, that the motor seems to be extremely warm. But switching to 10w30, its not that hot. Even after multiple redlines in school zones.
