strip=broke car
i was at the drag strip today and on my last run (obviously) i went to shift into 3rd and it wouldnt go in, i thought i missed a gear, so i just put it in neutral and coasted the rest of the way, and when i went to put it in gear i had absolutly no clutch pressure, and it wont get into gear. any help would be really great as to what could be wrong, i think i blew my clutch, but im not sure

People swear by specs on here... however after seeing my friends fry up in a short period of time... less than 3 months... i forget the exact amount i'll never touch them. They look cheaper than any other clutch i've seen.
Its just my opinion, i love my king cobra, but if you dont have a t-45 they dont make them for the 3650.

RE: strip=broke car
from what you describe i think you blew the cable.
and the spec clutches from what i understand are probably great for race use, but people are using them in a DD condition which wears them fast.
the king cobra feels almost stock under normal driving, but when you put your foot to the floor and really slam the shifts it grabs HARD

RE: strip=broke car
umm this may be off topic but i noticed someone said they dont make king cobra for the tr-3650. I wonder what kind of clutch i have then, I didnt put a aftermarket clutch in but i noticed that when i bought the car the clutch feels really really heavy compared to other GT's my year and feels just about as heavy as the 04 cobras its also quite shorter than the stock clutches. Can someone please tell me what kind i might have...?
