I like the cowl hood too.

Yeah, I would have got that hood instead of my Cervinis if I could have found it in something other then CF. I've heard CF is hard to paint and I didn't want to fool with it. I like the shape of this one better then mine though.

I have a carbon fiber hood on my 2001 GT unpainted. Looks a little weird since my GT is black, but I am just happy with saving some weight.

I think carbon fiber looks real good on a red car.

The weight savings arent worth it IMO. You can use that money for other mods, or just save it and get a bigger mod later on. CF is good, but most people here are driving mustangs, and they do tend to weigh a lot to begin with. If you were making an all out street monster, go for it, but don't get it just because it looks cool. If thats the case, paint your current hood white and say its fiber glass.
