I have never seen one for a 4.6L engine. The REAL (non turbonator) electric superchargers only really work for very small engines.

They acutally sell electric kits for quite a few 4cyl cars. But they don't flow enough to make power on a 4.6L engine. The largest engine I have heard of them running was a 1.8

Electric "superchargers" are a bad idea, here is a list of reasons :

1). This is nothing more then a fan that is inline with your intake, in order to give any sort of gain it would need to spin VERY fast, meaning more drain on your electrical system
2). Its plastic, the impeller is surely plastic and imagine if a fin broke off and entered into your intake.... uh oh...
3). Does it go before the MAF, After the Maf?, it would have to go before the MAF so the air is properly metered, or does it come with electronics or tuning?

Lastly, the housing is plastic, this is not good as the impeller will be spinning very fast to displace 4PSI, which means increased friction and heat, plastic + heat = no good.

My opinion... Skip this mod.
