New Gears=whinning noise?
i put 3.73 in my 98gt and it makes a whinning noise most of the time some say normal some say not so what is it bad or normal?

what brand of gears? ive heard of richmond gears making some whine in f-bodies, but id guess that your ring and pinion arent aligned as good as they should be? who installed them?

They need to be re- shimmed. Take it back. They shouldn`t whine at all.
