There is really no reason that a V8 should not easily get over 100K without much trouble unless you totally rag it out though its early to mid life. I almost always drive aggressivly but am careful to not overrev the engine, not totally wind it out when downshifting, keeping clean oil, air filter, fresh plugs, etc.

Whats wrong with that? I mean i bought my mustang to drive it not just look at it in a garage, i bought my 00 GT in 99 brand new and I have like 88k miles on it now, i drive it everyday.

7,049.2 on my '02 Mustang GT 5spd (premium). I had one problem, but it was a minor one. I had to have a slight oil leak fixed under warranty. It was the oil cooler gasket according to them. Whatever, it's fine now. Damn full synthetic finds anything.

I am the original owner of a 98 Gt, now has 80K on it and the only problems have been a temp gage, and a couple of sensors.

my 89 fox i had,170k miles,hmmm where to start, caught on fire, fuel punp, headlight switch, a/c issues, driveshaft weights came off, harmonic balancer. i think thats it, and i only had the car 8 months!!!!! now i have my 97 cobra, it is awsome all stock with 55k miles
