Ok, does it really only add a couple of HP? If so, why on their website do they say atleast 10-15 hp gains? If what you say is true about only a couple of HP, then why get a cold air intake?

i dont have ne pics but i got demolet tuneable induction cai, carbon fiber. i think for 99-04 this is the best looking one ive seen. true cold air to the fender. and im telling you the throttle response was amazing just from the change. you can also get it custom painted to match your car.

A CAI DOES increase throttle response in addition to giving you a few more HP. (By the way, I dyno'd my GT before and after putting on a K&N FIPK -- 3 rwhp.)
The reason the manufacturers list such high numbers is they have the ability to find a "ringer" vehicle that will respond unusually well to the mod. They also have the pick of days and conditions to dyno the test car.

But as many people have said, you can get the same increase just by putting a K&N filter in the stock filter box. Take out the fender baffle and you have pretty much as good a CAI as anyone's -- Ford designed it pretty well. What people are paying for is the "look" and maybe the name.

i have the silencer removed with a stock filter for now. waiting for either a K&N or a CAI. I like how the jlt has it so you can get it painted

I second that. I've got the Densecharger (tunableinduction.com) in my car too and it rocks. It doesn't look pretty because it's all ABS but it doesn't get as hot as metal pipes (hot pipes = hot intake air = less HP). IMO this is the best CAI you can buy.
