Running really warm... :(

Running really warm... :(
My temp guage reads "NORMAL" as do most yours. When I am driving around during the day and I have the windows up and A/C on (which is a lot now because it's hot as ***** in a wool ******* here in Orlando) my temp guage rests between "M" and the "A"... I don't that one bit. I have checked the radiator and coolant levels. All is well. WTF can I do to get my temp back down where they are normally? At night, my car runs around the "O" and never breaks past the "R". I have a SLP 180* thermostat too. Thanks guys!

When was the last time you flushed your radiator out? That might help a bit doing that, and refilling w/ some fresh coolant/water. Also i've heard that if you run a more water to coolant ratio it'll run cooler (like 70% water and 30% coolant, instead of 50/50). There's a product called Water Wetter that you could try to, which helps your car run cooler.

Yeah flushing it may help a bit. But you gotta realize when its hot as hell outside, your car is gonna run hotter especially with your A/C on. Its still in the normal area so really its fine.

if you're an auto get a trans cooler, that will help a lot, and also, an oil cooler. my trans cooler alone made me run about 5 degrees cooler in 90 degree weather, even w/ ac blasting.

What do you have for gauges to determine you were running 5 degrees cooler with a tranny cooler?
Anyways, as long as you aren't in the red, it's not that bad....
Now if you determine nothing is wrong with your cooling system, IE water pump, hoses, obstructions blocking the radiator, fans working correctly blahblahblah... You have the option of running water & something like water wetter or 40 below etc and you WILL notice a difference in your water temps, but you'll have to pay attention to the weather and make sure it won't drop below freezing at night.
