I seem to be having a problem with shifting from 1st to 2nd.....unless I get it up to 2500 RPM or so it grinds unless I go 1st....neutral for a sec or 2 then 2nd....From what I see this is a fairly common problem with the tremecs....will a new shifter correct this and if so which one is best? I was looking at the new one from MGW....but they all really look the same to me..Or, is there another way to correct this without replacing the tranny?....BTW it's an 03 GT 4.6, 26000mi....
