why does the 04 need extensions??? whats different from my 02, mine u just hafta unclip it from the tranny so it has the length and it fits perfect. Its not too hard to do, gotta spray the bolts with penetrating oil, ull need a u-joint and a decently big extenion to get to the driver side bolts (esp. the bottom one). other than that its not too bad at all.

I had a shop do it. I would of done it myself but I was way too busy with side jobs and I didn`t know when I would be able get to it. $70, so it was worth it.

The 04 GT has a different stock H pipe where they moved the O2 sensors back closer to the rear of the pipe. Only the 04 GT would need the o2 extensions. I just cut my o2's and spliced in my own extensions. I shrink wraped them and tied them out of the way of the pipe. They have been fine for the last 10K miles.
