Default Chick with mustang needs help!

hey guys. A few months ago i invested in a 01' Mustang GT- 5-speed. I have added a few minor mods, with more coming....but i am having too many problems for my own good. I was about to try some new BBK pulleys, until i noticed a very strange whining noise coming from almost the center of the engine. I just replaced my serpentine belt, so im not quite sure if that could be the problem. Also, i was wondering if anyone knew how to make the cable clutch a little less grabby. Thanks for the help!

-Amy

Do you have a firewall clutch adjuster?

If not I recommend the UPR adjuster. You can change the pedal height which changes when the clutch catches.

Do you know if the clutch is stock or aftermarket? Because the aftermarkets clutches will be more grabby than the stock

Are you are talking about when it the clutch engages? If its its engaging to close to the floor, then the get firewall adjuster.

Edited: To be less drunkenly sounding. Cheers

water pump might be shot. It lies in the center of the engine.

If your pulleys are aluminum, I would return them and get a stronger metal. The aluminum pulleys actually get worn down by the belt which meens you have to replace them a couple years down the road.

Do not buy bbk pulleys, spend the little extra money and buy Steeda.
