Turbo is the ****. Its alot more efficent because it does not use any of the engine power to run it like a supercharger does.

your friends wont be laughing when you spank their *** if you go turbo...you cant even compare turbos to superchargers, they are on a different level.

so u say turbo but then what about the heat issue here in Miami, wont perform as well no? i know in the winter turbos can be sickening, thats y i sometimes consider supercharger cause since there belt driven weather doesnt matter. And suppose i do say yes to turbo is it possible for 96 gt be twin turbo or is that asking for to much?

He is COMPLETELY wrong about the weather aspect with turbos. Actually, F/I motors perform better in ALL weather conditions, temperatures, and altitudes than their n/a breatheren.

Anybody who says superchargers are better has a biased, uneducated view.

Not only is twin turbo not asking too much, it's already been done. It's a little expensive, but IMO if you got the money, I would go turbo over a blower anyday. 600 rwhp @ 8-9 psi, 800-850 rwhp @ 12-13 psi. Just make sure your engine and drivetrain can handle the abuse.
