Default humming noise, i think i found it

so my car starts humming again and i rush to pull over and pop the top. to my surprise
the noise, this loud obnoxious humming noise, is coming from my CAI. im kinda relieved
its not my engine, but at the same time why is it my intake?? its a really loud sound, and
i kno its fukin up my engine somehow, it has to.

now that i gave you guys more detail on where its coming from, can anyone tell me what
it might be??? it happened with my stock intake and with my C & L intake.

O ! one more thing..... it really only happens on hot days.

HELP

it might be your IAC. my dad had a ford aerostar that did the exact same thing especially on hot days, only when the IAC was coming into control. I'd try cleaning that up and see what that gets you and also inspect the tube that comes off it.

I had this same problem with my CAI. I didnt have the proper IAC inlet tube from the factory (the tube with the plastic black box that connects the IAC valve to the intake tube). I was just using a rubber hose. I was losing my mind cause the moaning was so damn loud. Once I put the factory inlet tube on the moaning went away never to return.

remove it, and spray it down with a ton of brake cleaner through the holes on it and you'll see the cleaner coming out dark, keep spraying until it comes out clear...

if cleaning it doesn't fix it, it may be bad...
